What Teameats does
Teameats helps groups (teams, classmates, roommates) coordinate shared food orders. We provide voting, batching, bill-splitting, and payment-link generation. We are not a restaurant, payment processor, or delivery service.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for anything that happens under your account. Don't share login details and don't let people you don't trust access your cycles.
Money & payments
Teameats does not handle, hold, or process payments. We generate one-tap payment links (InstaPay, Vodafone Cash, Venmo, Wise, PayPal, etc.) so members can pay each other directly. Any money owed is between members — Teameats is not a party to those transactions and is not responsible for refunds, disputes, or failed transfers between users. Verify payment recipients before sending funds.
Restaurants & orders
Restaurant menus, prices, hours, and delivery times are provided for convenience and may not always be accurate. Teameats is not responsible for late orders, missing items, food quality, allergic reactions, or any disputes with restaurants. Always confirm critical details (allergens, prices) directly with the restaurant.
Acceptable use
Don't use Teameats for anything illegal, abusive, or harmful. Don't try to access other teams' data, scrape the platform, or reverse-engineer it. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Service availability
We aim for high uptime but Teameats is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change features, pause the service for maintenance, or discontinue it with reasonable notice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Teameats is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including lost orders, payment disputes, or business interruption.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes we'll notify active users by email or in-app notice and update the effective date above. Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept them.
